Sara Maitland

Sara Maitland is a short story writer by preference, but also writes novels and non-fiction, most recently A Book of Silence (Granta 2008).  Her new (non-fiction) book Gossip from the Forest will be published by Granta in November 2012 and is about fairy stories and natural history.  She lives alone on a moor in S.W. Scotland.
