A.M.Homes wins the 2013 Women's Prize for Fiction

May We Be Forgiven, the epic new novel from American writer A.M.Homes has won this year’s Women’s Prize (previously known as Orange and shortly to become Baileys).

This substantial, sly and significant book, a kind of family saga but wilder and fare more ambitious than that label suggests, is a worthy winner in a year when the competition included the seemingly unbeatable Bring Up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel and other strong contenders.
