Whether reader or publisher, or both, we are all fascinated by literary prizes. This year’s non-award of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction has been a much-discussed scandal and reported here at bookoxygen. Today we offer a link to a revelatory article by novelist Michael Cunningham in The New Yorker which not only discusses this particular event but also shares some of the experience of judging a major prize.
